While riding today for no reason or warning I had no throttle power. I have a 08 StreetGlide with ABS. The engine light came on and the engine continued running at idle...I could only go 15-20 mph to get home.I have a PC-V connected, so when I got home I disconnected the PC-V and connected the bike back without the PC-V and started the bike up ....same thing. I let it run for a minute or 2. Then I turned the engine off and restarted the bike again. This time the engine seem to run normal. I then reconnected the PC-V and the engine still continued to run fine. I took it for a ride and as of now all seems fine. Has this ever happened to anyone else before or does anyone know what may have been my problem?

So you have a bagger possibly a Street Glide from the avatar, what year ?
I'm guessing it's fly by wire throttle, cycling the ignition switch often cures ( for a short period ) throttle problems.
That's what I was thinking also. From what I have been reading on the throttle by wire system, this is a limp mode to get you home when the system detects a problem. Good luck and keep us posted.
If you look down the barrel of the throttle body the plug is on the left and you pull it out towards the back of the bike. The plug is behind the air cleaner backing plate.
To reset the codes you press and hold the odo reset button while turning on the main switch. you need to go into the P list and reset - this attachment tells you what to do under point 8.
I had the same issue with mine. It was in deed the TBW, causing the limp mode. However, when the dealer replaced the throttle harness, it did not fix the problem. It turned out I had two chaffed wires in my main harness that had to be fixed. Be sure they look for that if unplugging/resetting doesn't solve your problem.
