Primary Issue?
Few days ago I serviced my SG and decided to go with Mobil 1 in all three holes. Since the service, I have noticed an oil burning smell coming from the Primary, and the left floorboad vibrates more than it use to. I put 32 Oz. in the Primary, which is what the manual calls for. Any ideas?

O.K. There's a million guys here that are going to tell you about oils, and performance and etc., etc. The primary is a simple case that has a double chain that transfers the crank power to the tranny via the compensating sprocket and clutch. If you smell a burning smell, the fluid is wrong, the clutch is burning or the starter jack shaft is seized. i would go for the first and replace the fluid with good old fashioned HD Primary fluid. Your clutch plates are probably burnt, but try a change right away and see if it goes away. If you still smell a burning it's not a big deal to rip it down. I have posted pics here before, but I will send you a link, or repost them.

Unless, just a seal is leaking like mine did around 1k mi. Or, maybe the drain is leaking or Derby gasket and it is blowing back on the left pipe, then there would be an oily smell.
Track the burning oil down, then you'll know how to fix it. DOUBT Mobil1 or any oil you see the rest of us use will burn your clutchs. My .02.
