21 inch wheel will take away from your handling. If you love the way your bike handles and feels you will hate the change.

This is true, don't do it unless you are also willing to lower the front end too.

Default My 2 cents

I have bought 2 sets of rims from Sam at Ride Wright Wheels in CA. www.ridewrightwheels.com He is the owner and will give you personal service. I have found his customer service to be topped by no one!

Custom built your way, size width, color and option, Guaranteed for life, built in the USA!

So I own 2 sets, one on my wifes deluxe, and on my streetglide. Mine are 21/3.5 in front and 18/4 in the back. Fat Daddy 50 spokes, I get more complements on the rims than any other part of the bike.

As far as handling goes at highway speeds I feel no difference, now at parking lot speeds, yes a difference, more of a gyroscope feel, and a little harder to turn, and a little like riding a raked out chop, but I don't spend a lot of time in parking lots. I ride around 7500-10000 miles a year. Plus some of this is also caused by the fact I am running 16" apes. If I had it do do over again would I? YES YES no question, I love them and the best part is it sets you apart from all the Billet rimmed bikes! Give them a call, price the rims and decide for yourself.

Just my 2 cents. John
