2004 RK Necklace removal HELPPPP
Hi guys I am new here I hope I am in the right forum for my question........ I am installing some new Black Diamond throttle cables on my RK, my bike is EFI so I have the throttle boady off to give more room to remove the cables. I just found out that the you cant pull the cable throu the front necklace the top throttle cable wont make it through the necklace or headlight cover, you have split your right side necklace to get it through.
HOW in the hell do do this lolol I have the headlight out and there no room to remove the little nuts on the top side that hold the cover strip. I think you have to remove the key cover ring plate, is this just stuck on withdubble side tape & will I have to drop my running lights also. Man this is alot of work to install cables lolo I respect the mechanic that has to do this every day. I hope you guys can help me with this and any pic would be great. Also the EFI throttle body cover the peice that you filter butts on to. I remove that and there are two bolts that have have holes in them that have a black rubber house hooked to them. When I install them back do I need to make sure the holes are inline with the rubber hose. Are is that figured in when you tighten then up. Just want to make sure its vents are do what is has to do. Thanks guys if you can help me woooof my fingers are killing me...............
