Exactly my point. The TP itself is probably worth more than the contents. Get the detachable lock kit.

Not that it matters but the "lid lock" is not on the latch. It's near the front latch, but has nothing to do with the latch.
I don't think you can lift up the rear enough to look in. They might be able to rip the lid off (thiefs can do lots of damage). But it would take more, than just a curious thief.

Good point. Forgot about those stock hinge pins. Another reason to replace with the chrome hinges. Did mine about a year ago.
