Got my silver Road Glide today. After 18 years without riding, I was a little concerned about handling. After the new bike briefing at the dealer, a couple laps around the parking lot then a few blocks down the street, it all came flooding back to me. With tears in my eyes guys, I just didn't know what I was missing.
I forgot how easy it is to get it up to 65. I forgot the feel of the wind buffeting. I forgot the feel of a real throttle. I forgot the loafing feeling of the scooter at 50. I forgot the H-D greeting to other H-D riders on the road (if that was you man, I'm sorry, I think I was trying to shift or sumpthin).
Got it home and browsed through the owners manual for highlights, still trying to figure out the security system on it, awe forget it. I'm gonna finish the first 50 miles break in this afternoon, then start on the first 500 tomorrow morning. Early.
