I traded my 2005 Sportster Roadster for a 2006 RK Classic and boy what a difference. Managed to find a 2006 RK with only 8,000 miles on it and it looks brand new. I think I'm gonna enjoy the new ride!
with much sadness i traded my 04 deuce on a 09 RKC in august - before i got home from the dealer i knew i made the right choice. i'll have this bike forever, i love it!
on bars - i sat on a bunch of bikes and just finally bought some 14 inch apes - they go on this weekend
Best model made by H-D, Sundowner seat, wild1 chubby apes and new rear shocks. Love the ride and comfort and convertabliity. Just added a tour pak to mine and now the wifey loves it too. Looking for comfort profile crash bars next for her next.
Had '06 RKC and loved it every minute as you will. Now, I'm on my new Ultra and loving it more even though I still miss my RKC. Fat Boy's good for local rides and bar hopping, but Road King's an all around bike whether it's local rides, bar hopping or long distance rides.
I have an 09 RKC, and I put the RKC Sundowner seat on it, which felt like it was slightly lower than the stock seat and have the HD Reduced Reach handlebar gives a more relaxed feel when riding.
