I have about 1500 miles on my Road King. I'm in the Pacific Northwest, so I do a lot of riding in the rain. With this said, I've not had any problems until yesterday. All of a sudden I noticed every time I pulled in my clutch lever or released it, it made a squeaking noise. It's starting to drive me nuts. I'm not sure what happened. Yesterday is not the first time I've been in the rain, so I'm thinking that shouldn't have anything to do with it, but I've been wrong before. Anyone out there have/had a similar problem? Is this normal, not normal and how do I get rid of it. Like I said, it just started yesterday in the rain and have around 1500 miles on the bike. HELP!
I had the same problem with my 09 Flhx. One day out of the blue, at around 2000 miles it started squeaking when I pull it in or let it out. I asked my dealer, and it turns out that the teflon piece inside the perch that the handle glides on just needs to be worn a little more. Ended up putting a little light oil in there just to temporarily cure the problem until that teflon wears alittle more.

Don't put any graphite on the Teflon they get along well. Light oil as stated is a better choice.
Two things I've leaned. It's normal and I might be able to get it to stop with some light oil. I already feel better about it; hopefully it will stop with the oil.
