I've tried the search and haven't found the information I'm looking for.
To top it off I cant find my FSM or parts book either.
Can someone tell me whatthe size is for the bolts that hold the ack of the slip on mufflers to the bracket under teh saddle bag? I lost 2 of them the other day. I went to the home depot but the bolt I took with me didn't seem to fit anything.
1/2" head
5/16" course thread
3/4" or 1/2" long
Just off the top of my head.
Not at the shop right now.
That's for the 07 bikes.
Should have a lock washer too.

Funny you should ask about those bolts. Had tires changed at the dealer.(good bye 407's), kept hearng a tin/rattling sound/ Traced it down to this hanger and two missing bolts. guess the tech thought he didnt need to put them back on. Pulled the one on the other side and matched it up at the local True Value. Still waiting to see the service manager to bust his chops.
I have found mine loose before. Loctite is necessary on those 4 bolts for sure. Keep in mind that if you pull them for a tire change, you will need to re-apply.

Looked everywhere for info on dimensions.
