Repalced my old dim bulb with a Sylvania Silverstar for motorcycles. Same wattage as stock but very white. MAde about 1000% difference in my riding, I still don't outride my lights though and am always aware of eyes on the side of the road.

Here in Minnesota no night driving in country side... deer way to dangerous... in city the cages definitly the problem... I like the advice on flashing bakes... I do this night and day
Minnesota and bugs... ith my RKCustom and no sheild... I dont dare open my mouth and have plenty of handy wipes to wash the green goo from my face...
June bugs are damn big and can rock your head back with a nice red green stained welt.
IF i am riding night I certainly wear something over my lower half of my face and doo rag on top
