Actually a white bike is easier to keep clean than black bike, or worse all chrome.For me it has to have a balance.Paint,polished aluminum,chrome.To each his/her own.

 

I have seen other colors (red, green, blue, yellow) done. The engine, frame, wheels and even lower forks all done to match the tins. Looks sharp and unique. Especially with pin striping, chrome or other accents to break it up.

 

I don't think it will catch on, but years ago a show bike out of Oakland California owned
by a guy named Bud Perry had one looked ok.
