Windshield - FastAire, CeeBailey, LongRide, or Clark's Custom
Looking for a new windshield for my street glide. I don't want to spend over $80, so clearview and klockwerx are out. Which is the best value for the money - fastaire, ceebailey, longride or clarkscustom? Is there any other brands I'm missing? Thanks.
I have a 10" Longride on my 09 ultra, works and looks awesome...and one of my buddies have a Longride 6" med. tint on his 09 SG and the bike looks better after the change and no buffeting...he said it was a helluva difference over that stock piece of chit he had before...btw, he's 5'9" stock seat.
I've just ordered a 10" Windvest but haven't received it yet. It's $125 shipped, so that might be more than what you're looking to spend. I've had excellent luck with the Windvest on my 'Train.
I ordered a 6" Long Rider smoked shield from their ebay store (item# 270406272891 ) for $75.99 shipped. I should get it tomorrow. It has the curved top like the other brands. If the weather cooperates I will try it out this weekend.
When I had my ultra, I tried both the long ride and clarks. I kept the clarks moon on for 3 years. The long ride shield, I kept on the bike for 2 miles and didn't like the turbulance it created around my ears.
+1 for clarks. (the only thing I didn't care for on my clarks, it did seem to scratch easily)
