Need help installing: Headlight visor trim ring

I removed the original and put a few bends in the plate that screws to the fairing as suggested by another forum member.
I added a piece of duct tape to the insde of the ring to give it some bite on the notches.
works great and looks good without the gap.

thanks for the help so far. I work at a location that has a basic metal shop, I'm going to see what i can come up with. So far i have come up with is put washer behind the screws that hold the whole assembly onto the fairing, i will just measure the gap between the light and the ring and measure how many washers to use. And maybe a little double sided tape also.
