Ok, I read the instructions & they help out but they show a rounded top bend...I think I speak for most guys when I ask...Are there any suggestions on getting the connectors past the friggin double 45 degree top bend? Doesn't seem like the connectors will bend or fit to make the turn down the rest of the bar. Obviously it can be done. Just concerned about tearing/snapping the connector.

Hey Ya'll I'm a little late to this party but I am learning alot about these MBB, I am going to get a set with my income tax return. I am torn between the 10" and 12 " I am 5"9" and ride a 09 SG. I don't want to have to change any cables and I don't want my hands way above the fairing from what I can tell in photos is the 10" put your hands right at the top of the fairing and the 12" pretty much clear the fairing. Do you all find this to be true.

MassHD can I get a set of those instructions also-- troy.anthonysmith@yahoo.com

Thanks all,

Troy

I went through the same choice. I ended up getting the 12s and as far as I'm considered they are perfect. I am 5'11" and with the stock seat my hands are just slightly above shoulders. The new feel is amazing, it is night and day from the stock bars. To each his own but I couldn't be more happy with my choice.

I ended up bending one of the connectors on mine and then broke it trying to get it straight. Luckily the local dealership had plenty in stock and they were only .42 cents. So I replaced 1 pin and had no trouble after that. Good Luck

What I did was split the amount of terminal wires so the hole group does not have to pass the bend at the same time. For example, 1/2 the wires will be as normal and the other 1/2 will be taped back. This way only 1/2 of the terminal pins will pass the bend the the renaming pins will pass the bend as you continue to pull the wire.

Thanks for the info, I think i am giong with the 12s. Really don't want my hands above my shoulders, I am 6'1 so I should be fine there with the 12s.
