just finished installing my 10" PYO monkey bagger bars....did extend the wiring, but am using stock brake and clutch....the clutch, I re-routed under the fairing (rather than through), the same path brake hose takes, on opposite side...no problems, in fact, to me its a better routing, in that the cable takes a smoother curve as opposed to the sharp turn it would take coming out throug the fairing....my 2C....if y'all want, will post pics

XD - wiring extension is necessary-I staggered the joints, and soldiered all joints, using heat shrink to cover - I also colour coded to match up, as I couldnt exactly duplicate the factory colour scheme - - extend the wiring at the connector(harness) end....not at the switches.....I used corn starch as a dry lube(very slippery), if you can, put the wires through as loose as possible, this will allow the group of wires to round the tight corners without too much binding.....thats about it really....after it was fished through, I used heat shrink on groups of wiring, to help protect it from chaffing at the exit point from bars....now...about the pics....you did want a finished shot right?..I didnt do step by steps of my install
