I just finished running the wires through the right side (W/TBW), couple things to add to the thread.
I wound up glueing the green connector together on the tbw wiring. Learned the hard way: You have to pull pretty hard on the wiring and mine came apart (when I was almost done!) and (as someone else said) to say I cussed Paul Yaffe and his momma several times would be an understatement. So yeah, GLUE IT!
I used weed whacker string to pull the wires through, worked pretty well. Run one through then attach two to that one and pull them both through, that way you'll have one for the tbw and one for the switches. Pull the tbw past the %$#@&*^ spike/bend and then start the switch wiring, that way you can kinda do both at the same time.
I, like someone else here, left enough of the switch wiring loom on (at the switch end) to get past the spike/bend so I won't have to worry about chaffing, I also added a piece at the end where the wires come out of the bars, for the same reason. I used lots of white lithium and it wasn't that messy, worked well.
This IS an exercise in patience, plan on plenty of time and walk away when necessary.
Update: left side is done, just wanted to let y'all know I was able to run the wires through WITH the OE loom.
BTW, I've done internal wiring, internal (mechanical) throttle and internal hydraulics. While they had their difficulties they weren't no monkey bars!!

Thats funny. I glued the plug together and used heat shrink to hold it together and pulled mine apart also. The really funny part is it was so f*cked up I couldn't tell how it went back together and the manual does not show the schematic at that point (wires are different colors from throttle to the plug and from the plug to the molex connectors. One very cool member of this board had one sitting on his workbench and helped me out. I soldered it back together and 1.5 years later its still working great! Moral of the story, get the SE TBW and make it easy!
