I did glue mine together and heat shrinked it tight. It didn't come apart, the plug broke into several pieces when pulling it. That was fun because the wiring diagram in the manual does not show the plug only from the molex down and the wires on both sides of the plug don't match in color code. I wound up cutting out the plug and soldering the wires once I got the color coding figured out. Night and day difference in pulling the wires through. I would highly reccomend getting the SE TBW to begin with. It eliminates the problem. Worth every penny!
Although this info is not the Yaffe bar it really helped me install my 13"Cyclesmith apes. Just PM anyone of the guys on this thread and they will help you though it. I am not a mechanic and I was able to get it done. Everyone is right about the internal wires. They are a big pain in the a$$. I had to walk a way a couple of times before I got the wires pulled in and the plugs back on. I had never changed out a clutch cable and it went alot easier than the wires.
I was going to recommend this site, but you beat me to it. Even though it is for an older bike and different bars, it is VERY helpful in showing you what to expect, and how to handle the wiring.
