Have you got the green plug on the down side of the bend? You might be able to get the switch wires through the bend if the plug is out of the way. I tried doing them at the same time and it just wouldn't happen. More than one way to "skin a cat." Let us know how it turns out.

Buckeyerider, did you have any more luck at this? I'm running into the exact same problem right now. I just came in from the garage, after spending six hours trying to get the right side done, with no luck. I fished everything through three times, and each time I would get a little further along, but no dice. The last time was the farthest. I got the green connector all the way to the corner, and it seperated and tore the heat shrink. I don't see how it's possible to get that in, and then the switch harness too.

If anyone has any more advice other than the youtube video and the Yaffee tips, I'm all ears.

Does anyone know how much the SE TBW harness costs?

I haven't tried it yet. Will get back out friday. Some tips I got was to cut the sheathing off both harness and tightly wrap both together with elect tape. Also heard to remove the green plug and solder the joints.
If you run both sets together make sure to measure right so they are correct length by the top.
I'll post tomorrow after I try again.Supposed to be 60 and would love to ride.

When I did mine I found that by twisting a piece of wire, I used a depapered bread twist tie, around the green plug lengthwise so it couldn't pull apart and then covering the plug with tape to smooth it out I was finally able to pull it all through. A little lubricant didn't hurt either. That damn green plug of the TBW took longer than all the other wiring together.

SE TBW is around $80 i think. Easiest way is to cut the green plug out and solder the wires together. The plug is only there to make changing the TBW assembly easy. Once you get rid of the green plug the wires should pull through pretty easy. Leave some extra (TBW) wire coiled up inside the bar just below the TBW assembly. This way if it ever goes bad you can pull it out, snip the wires, and install the new one.

rb, check your in-box. I also sent you a link to a helpful video on youtube. When my bars arrived, the same instructions were in the box. But they had been copied in black and white, so the pictures were just about worthless. I'd advise anyone considering tackling this project, that you go through and read this entire thread, as there's several good tips here, that are not in the instructions.

Hope this helps!

After pulling the connector apart, which broke the retainer, I just super glued it together, didn't come apart after that.
