Can you guys advise on which length ape's I should purchase?
I am 5'6" tall, 30" inseam, arms are average length for my stature.

My HD stealership tech wanted 7 hrs labor($630) for this job. He suggested that I add 12" bars, which I feel would be too long. I belive that the stock bars have a 9" rise, but I could be wrong.

With the cost of the bars and extended cables, that puts this mod well over the $1100 if I let them do it!

I don't want my fist way up high in the sky, I would like my arms to be parallel when im seated. comfort first, then style.

I am adding the Rockford Fosgate PBR 300 x 4 amp, and aftermarket 4ohm speaker set up as soon as I bring my 2012 Denim Black SG home. ( It's in there secure, heated storage facility).

I might as well add the MBB,and Performance Machine grips while I have the bat wing removed.(gonna throw some sound deadner and my stock antenna in the bat wing as well).

Thank you to all of the helpful members, that make this such a wonderful community, as well as an invaluable resource for those of us that chose to do it ourselves.

Motor City,

I'm 6'0'' with a 32" inseam. I've got the 12's and my wrists are just slightly lower than my shoulders which is perfect for long distance comfort.
Sounds like some great mod's you've got planned (all the same things I've done).

PYO instructions sent to both requests.

Texas SG....
thank you for your prompt response, and for all of the help that you, and the other members have provided.

so if you are 6' tall with 32" inseam and 12's are perfect for you, I would hazard a guess that 10's would be best for me at 5'6" tall with 30" inseam.

any one else have input to add for those of us that are shorter in stature?
