Some type of crimp connector is advised, I used to solder & shrink wrap everything I did until I found that soldering makes the copper brittle. I've had soldered connections fail numerous times on a hard-tail chopper due to vibration.

Thanks!! Quick question do the supersize kits come with enough shrink tubing to cut off the stock tubing and replace with their tubing? I just purchased 14" monkey bars, and I am trying to make sure I will have all the right tools, and materials for the job. Also TexasSG you mentioned crimp connecting the extended wires instead of soldering, did you heat shrink after crimping? Thanks in advance.
