I posted this in the sporty section and have done a search, but have yet to get a response. So here it goes. I have been contemplating doing the Road King shock swap but since they aren't rebuildable, I don't want to bid on a set and get a lemon.
I did notice on ebay that they have new aftermarket sets that don't cost much more than the HD takeoffs.
My question is does anyone have direct experience with the off brand ones from like KC international or Sorgy's etc? I know they are going to be an inch lower than the stock RK shocks but brand new they run 125-150.
Thanks for any info.
Evan
Also check out Bitchnbaggers. They will shorten you stock shocks also. A buddy of mine had his done (1") and was very happy with the results. I think the cost was around 150.00
