Was your XM mounted with a RAM mount? I used the double sided tape and put it in the little flat spot of the fairing in the upper left hand side. Doesn't interfere with the view of any of the gauges. With the Roady 2 you can change the coor of the LCD as well, mine has an orange background to match the rest of the gauges. (Sorry, off on a tangent.)
Yup, short RAM mount. Except I drilled three holes in the fairing. One with a grommet for the wires. The install looked clean, I hate to move it. Oh well...
And yes, I had mine set to orange too.
I was playing with the quest at the dealer yesterday. Much faster than the Streetpilot III that I'm replacing it with. Can't wait to get it.
