since the sporster 4 just plugs into the docking station and does not actually lock into it, has anyone had any problems with the receiver working its way out of the docking station? mounted mine to the fairing of my '07 UC using the auto mount included with the kit. removed the suction cup, and drilled thru the remaining mount and bolted it to the fairing.

Gman I ended up making a mount for my sirius sportster, mine has a lock lever on the back of the dock, does the new ones not? Take a look at the one I made, just do a search on my name, thinking about making up some and selling them after some road testing

gilbos440rt. great job, like the bracket you made. the sportster 4 docking station has a small slide button on the back, showing a locked/unlicked padlock. instructions don't talk about it. tried moving it, but it doesn't lock the receiver into the docking station. just got it mounted, so don't know if the receiver will work itself out of the docking station or not. appreciate the help, again great work on the bracket you made, it really looks sharp. maybe you can make your next million producing them.

The first would be nice[sm=lol.gif] My lock works when I press the reciever all the way in and holding a little presure on it slide the latch to the right sorta can feel it. Hope this helps you every one I've seen so far you can lock. Mount works real well so far in testing, no more moving when you touch the buttoms going down the road, and a lot closer to me and to the center of the handle bar. Much easier for me to see and reach
