Klock Werks vs Wind Vest

I started a post looking for a killer (year end) sale on the Klock Werks --- Then today a friend suggested the Wind Vest????????? Crap -

So, did a search and really did not find anything.

for those of you that have put down the big $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

what if any difference between the Klock Werks and the Wind Vest - or other re-curve shields

If you're talking about the KW Flare, you can't use a windshield bag or any bar mounted accessories (like GPS).

I'm very happy with my 10" Windvest.

I am talking about the KW 8.5 curve - just talked to the folks there and they say the windshield bag will work on the 8.5 but NOT on the shorter 6

Need to look/check on the GPS issue you brought up

FWIW, I have seen pics of the 6.5 KlockWerks with the 2 bag mounted and looks fine

here is the shield - looks like a GPS would be a non issue??

I have the 6.5 Klock Werks and it's great. I also have a 2 pouch bag it's is pinched but it works.

Dunno, but their website says it won't work. Was enough to keep me from getting one.

Edit- OK, either I misread their site, or they've updated it, but now it says that the fairing-mount GPS won't work with the Flare windshield.
