I powder coated my tank badges yesterday, and didn't like it. Now she's just neked.

Maybe a dark matte gray colored badge would look good. I also believe naked makes it look generic (my opinion only, take it and 75 cents and you could get a cup of coffee).
See pic sig... stripped them off my 07 SG... as soon as I bought my 2010 SG I told the dealer to get rid of the tank badges! I like it... it gives the black bikes a real clean look! And I completly disagree... my 07 looks nothing like a metric and never once was mistaken for a metric. JMHO...
I didn't comment in the post yesterday, but I didn't like the black badge either. I think it looks better without it, or as stated a dark gray or something.
