Default How bout no tank badge?
I powder coated my tank badges yesterday, and didn't like it. Now she's just neked.

I like this much better. Just didn't like the look of the shiny black

i don't see anything wrong with no tank badges....Badges....we dont need to stinkin badges!!!

Opinions abound...Mine is that I don't like it. Reminds me of some generic metric trying to look like a Harley. I do like Jake ane Elwood though!

Maybe a dark matte gray colored badge would look good. I also believe naked makes it look generic (my opinion only, take it and 75 cents and you could get a cup of coffee).

See pic sig... stripped them off my 07 SG... as soon as I bought my 2010 SG I told the dealer to get rid of the tank badges! I like it... it gives the black bikes a real clean look! And I completly disagree... my 07 looks nothing like a metric and never once was mistaken for a metric. JMHO...

I didn't comment in the post yesterday, but I didn't like the black badge either. I think it looks better without it, or as stated a dark gray or something.

I will be doing a military style paint job on either the 91 FLSTC, or the '10 FLHTCU in the next few years.

I like the idea of no badges, but may look to do a really subdued paint badge, or subdued hard badge. i like ghost style for painted on badges.

your bike looks awesome. not a fan of black badge on a black bike though.. as i thought i saw that elsewhere.
