hello all,

my brother has a 1987 electra glide classic and we need help removing the ignition switch. We will need to fix the handle bar bushings.

please help with any picture or descriptions.
Also is there a place where to buy the shop manual.

The video is great. I wish I knew about it when I removed mine for the first time. I used the shop manual as Dawg suggested. No problems. It is always the first thing I buy whenever I get a new vehicle. Pays for itself over and over.

 

A lil different on removing the switch from the 1987 though.

 

As i recall My 2007 shop manual told me to turn the ignition switch the wrong direction after pushing up on the button underneath Posts here said to turn it the other way Popped right out then
