I recall seeing someone on here with a small iShuffle or such plugged to a 90 or right angled hard jack and plugged into the auxiliary jack of their stereo. I'm trying to figure out who and where they got the set up...
If anyone knows, please post! Or if you know where I can find one, it would be greatly appreciated!
I found a place online at www.handlebarclips.com ,and I bought one of their clips. I had to slightly modify it and the 2gb ipod shuffle to make it work as follows:
I had to cut the clip to make it the right size to fit inside of the nano's belt clip with a hacksaw:
Then I used a Dremmel with a cut off wheel to carefully trim the width of the clip on the shuffle to make it fit inside the handlebarclip. The photo is a little dark, but the ipod clip is normally the same width as the body:
In the end, it sits close enough to the grip on the left side that I can easily press the controls while riding:
When I park, I can unclip it and stick it in the tourpack, or my pocket easily.
I think what beracing is looking for is a regular 90 degree plug. Male on both ends with no cable. I have the idea that with just the plug (no cable) my mp3 player will just stay there with the plug holding it.
I have searched again with no luck. As of now I have a very short cable that I have wrapped around itself and tied together. I just leave the cable and a small mp3 player hanging from the plug. I have ran like that for two years and 14000 miles without problems, but will continue to look for a 90 degree plug, but I am betting this will be an items that can only be had by having an electronic store make one for you.

Stu is correct. Somebody on here had one that was a right angle, male on both ends, and the shuffle just sat right on top and plugged directly into the stereo aux jack. No cables or nothing. That is what I liked about it!
Something in my head tells me it was brass or something that looked like it, but that is pulling it from the foggy memory of what is left of my brain.... LOL.
I know somebody here has it or did have it, so I guess the needle is still in the haystack! Keep searching boys!!
