I have never seen such an adapter, I researched this one for awhile this morning with no luck and I checked some pretty off the wall (very good) cable and adapter suppliers. I would love to see a picture of this, my money is someone made it.

Tks Nozzle.. Yes I saw this pic, and yes this is similar to what I had in mind, though not the specific pic I remember seeing. I think they had it in their profile pic for a while. Still looks like a possible solution.

I think you're looking for Stereo Mini Plug to Stereo Mini Plug:

Then get a right angle female to male adapter for connecting to the iPod.

Thanks guys for the info!! I think you all are right. Can't find a Right Angle male to male anywhere. The setup above will have to do!
