Cutting the baffle ?

Would cutting some of the baffle off make the pipes louder? What if any damage would it cause? I currently have Reinhardts on, the bike it an 09. Do they make louder baffles?

i have trimmed them on metric bikes. makes them louder, but decreases back pressure some.

It will make it louder. Trimmed some baffles a few weeks ago. I didn't feel any loss of back pressure. I also stuck some smaller BCC baffles inside the cut baffles which more than compensated for the loss I guess.

I started doing all that until I finally threw em in the trash and installed the BCT baffles in the head pipes. I have Bassanis on mine. Love it. Heres a clip at idle.
