Default Anyone have VH Monster Rounds?

Just wondering if anyone has VH monster Rounds?, and how you like them? I have a 2010 RG and want to switch to 2 pipes, I think the Monster Ovals look alittle to wide from the pictures I have seen from behind??, I'm wondering if the rounds are a little more propotioned on the look but still have the same low sound of the MO's.

Thanks for any help towards my decision.

A friend has these and I think they look good. But it is all a question of personal aesthetics. Personally, I prefer the sound of the Vance and Hines true duals.

I had to get ride of my Monster Ovals when I went to extended saddlebags and I have missed that low rubble sound ever since.
These would have worked for me too, DAMN!!!

Default MO's and MR's

Yes they will pretty much sound the same according to V&H. I had emailed V&H and asked the same question. I like the rounds look just a little better than the ovals plus they are much cheaper. Reason for that is the cost of making the oval shape.

Monster ROUNDSLike it’s cousin the Monster Oval, the new Monster Round produces that deep and mellow rumble that’s winning the hearts and minds of touring riders who put in the long distance miles. Perfect for enjoying your stereo on the highway, the Monster Round features blue proof technology and a CNC machined billet end-cap for an impeccable appearance.

It’s also just the right fit for CVO models with extended saddlebag skirts.

I have the V&H slip on dual ovals. I like the sound and looks. At 70mph they mellow out very nice. At the end of a long ride, my ears don't feel like they took a pounding.

I am trying to figure out how big they are...3 1/2" or 4". I am stuck right now with either these, MO's or the new Dyno Tunned Jackpots....planing on a PC-V and air cleaner as well which is a toss up because I like the V&H air cleaners well.

Me too! Choice between Jackpot Dyno Tuned, Bub7 slip-ons, or the Monster Rounds. One concern I have with the Monster Rounds is maybe the cleaning of the grooves in the endcaps. The more I read, the more I lean towards the Jackpots with competition baffles... I wish I could hear the three of them, but that aint happening.
