have me half tempted to try one on my own. I have a 2010 Ultra with like 600 miles on it, it is currently on the lift out in the garage. I pulled the stock exhaust off to install V&H dresser duals and a SE air cleaner, I have a race tuner for it also.
I read atrain68's thread and some of the others, so I am thinking well it's already mostly apart, why not go ahead and pick up a set of 255s and go for it, the weather here in Ohio is going to suck for the next month or two, beside atrain68 lives close by. I have never met him but if I screw the thing up maybe I can beg him to come help me, decisions, decisions.
i have done two set in different bikes (99 sg & 01 RK ) get a service book just in case you forget something not hard to do at all you will need to press cams out & in cam plate ( u can do it )

Feel free to PM me if you get stuck. Glad to help out where I can.
PhilM, in your opinion/experience - does the Tman 525 need a bit of compression? Or do they work well in a completely stock top end?
Thanks.
They are designed as a "bolt-in" and work quite well that way. They are also able to work well, up to 10:1 CR.
Here's the blurb from TR's website:
"Chain drive bolt-in Cam, no head work required. Works well at 9.1 to 10.1 compression. A very good combination with flat top pistons and stock heads. Horsepower and torque increase with smooth ride." http://tmanperformance.com/cams.htm
"Rideability" is excellent with them, properly tuned of course ~ additionally, they are very easy to tune!
Please don't drag me into another Squeal'n Beagle 255 debate.
My experience, advice, and recommendation is the TR525.
