Was 19,500.00 cash out the door a good price for a 2010 road glide custom denim black /security/docking hardware and backrest? This was purchased in Newhampshire in oct 09. Seems like it might not have been as good as i thought.
The guy I bought my '03 ultra from gave me the invoice from when he bought it. $22,000. Then he bought the gold key package cost over $500. A battery tender and driver back rest I think that stuff was about $350. No chrome tho, It's black which I think was the cheapest paint job offered. So knowing that, does that make you feel better?.,,,
Out the door, that's probably a fair price. Once you've got the bike, just quit looking at prices till you go back for a new one. You'll always find one cheaper, and it'll just pizz you off. Enjoy it. There's nothing you can do about the price you paid now. Start pricing you add-ons, and fa get about it!
I was 20K OTD for my 09 RG. Granted I had cruse as standard but I didn't get a back rest or docking hardware. IMO you did pretty good, I though I did really well in February of 09 when I bought my bike.
No sense in looking back and second guessing your deal. I hear people telling of deals they got that seemed better than mine. I would be a mess if I kept looking back at deals. I bought a house 3 years ago. Good deal then, not so much today. Enjoy your ride
Different bike but I got my 2010 Limited from Heritage Harley in Concord NH on December 30th, $23,495.00 OTD. I called 6 different dealers to get the best price I could. Jan. 2nd I got a call from another dealer willing to beat the deal. Oh well, still no regrets, I got the bike I wanted at what I think is a good deal.
As long as you got what you want and are happy with what you paid, then it was a good deal.

I was just wondering compared to others. Cash really didn't seem to help bargaining much and i had a heck of a time getting a price out of a dealer to start trying to top at other dealerships. I know that i got a letter from the dealership a few days after purchasing it saying that they reported the cash transaction to the IRS They didn't mention that beforehand.
