Yeah your right it could never happen, your an all knowing God of 2 wheel speed!
6.100 on a stock 1000gix..... try again koolaid boy. are you really kidding 7.3??? on your bagger in a 1/8 mile run? Stock jap bikes do 9s in the "1/4" mile run all day.

Go away gxr'r boy, your obviously only here to be a dick, until youve had your *** handed to you by a Harley you'll never admit to them being cappable of being fast, probably wouldnt admit to it then anyway.
Shoe fly your wasting space here.
Back to the OP's desire to go back to the stone age of carbs!
your kidding right?? let me guess you actually think your cool on a harley right? that was about 10 to 15 years ago and like I said their Honda's now.... My 02 Gix1000 will (STOCK) will own any bagger you have, 0-60, 1/4, dont even think about top speed. Just because you smoke your buddies stock streetglides doesnt mean your "bagger" is fast....
WTF?! - don't you know this is a H-D forum? Why do you keep quoting horse power numbers? That's a dead give away that you don't know what the hell you're talking about. Ever hear of torque? I've drag raced Ducatis on my Fatboy and beat them 0 to 80 mph (where it really counts) Regardless WTF?! Go away - before someone with higher powers makes you.
given a choice I would take a carb over injection, carb is simple and rarely messes up , injection is too
much electronics and basically got to have the dealer fix the screw ups when a wire or sensor messes up which they have a tendency of doing..carb is bulletproof not injection JMO
Now that everyone has stolen this thread, I guess I will too. I'm willing to take the risk with electronics and sensors. I get excellent gas mileage and I can ride with crotch rockets and still get good gas mileage. How's that???

Your missing my point I don't ride to go fast and I have riden sport bikes Hyabusa. My 110hp Dyna was a blast and I do all my own mods. That is why this is pissing me off cause I can't fix this bike I'm just throwing money at it for someone else to try to fix. Not my style I have wrenched and moded all my bikes. Don't want a Jap bike I just want to ride all over with my Wife and luggage but make it past a gas station or 2
I didn't like the idea of having to rely on someone else for my tuning which is one huge reason I went with the Power Commander V with autotune from Fuel Moto. Since your bike didn't come with an o2 sensor system, a Thundermax system could fix your problems. I'd give Jamie at Fuel Moto a call and see what he can do to help your issue and still benefit from injection.
When I bought my 2001 Fatboy with EFI I was told by everyone I was a. nuts and b. taking a huge gamble. Fair enough - if I recall it was the first year of the Delphi EFI. 9 years later I feel I did the right thing. I had carb'd on my Evo and back then it was pretty common to rip the stock carb off and put an S&S on - which was definitely better than stock - but had clear flat spots in the torque curve no matter how carefully it was jetted and tuned. I've been very happy with EFI and it's been interesting to see many of the old timers who swore they'd never have EFI come around.
Why would you want to go back to the stone age of carboration?
Let's not kid ourselves. Fuel injection was only implemented across the board to meet increasingly strict EPA regulations. It wasn't done for the benefit of the rider.
Now there are some bikes I'd prefer to have injection on, such as those with 4 carbs. But it's far cheaper and easier to make a Harley v-twin run well when it has a carb.
