Hopefully it will be a cheap fix or as suggested a setting issue. Is it possible for you to download a PDF of your head unit so you can search for settings? My RK has no such doo dads and don't care but have had Harmon Kardon for home and has been great. My philosophies are I am too poor to buy cheap stuff and you get what you pay for. Currently have Onkyo at home and love it. Oh, bad me. I skated around the question. Ban me!!!!!

These guys are great. Even if your unit is not repairable, they will buy your usable parts.
I sent them my unit from my 06 RG...not repairable. They gave me $200 for parts. I discussed other stereo options with them. They said to buy an HK unit off Ebay...so I did. They did say to look for an 07 and up unit.

Iron Cross Audio is a better alternative in most circumstances than the HD refurb alternative because you get your unit back with ICA's enhancements. It's disappointing to have the problem in the first place, but ICA is a welcome alternative to HD's refurb program IMO.
