No, I did not find it rude. Hell if someone is that easly offended they should not be posting things asking for comments. I did however find my intake gaskets leak, and the one for the back REALLY bad. I bought two new ones today, and I am off to work. Tomorrow however I would like to replace them and as far as the manual, i ordered one today when i was at the dealer.

Default Suggestions, Pics, Words Of Wisdom

I did not get my manual yet, and I do not want to wait. I would like to replace my intake seals and have never touched a fuel injected bike before. I searched the forum and did not find any info. I am new here so my searching is more then likely the problem. If anyone has some suggestions I would apprechate it.

Thanks!

Just wondering if you figured out your problem. You will find the throtle position sensor on the left side of the throtle body. All you have to do is remove air filter assmbly, un plug TPS and remove a few screws that hold it in place.

It should be pretty easy to get it out......you might also look around for a older PCII they work great on these older bikes.......I have one and it was not expensive.

You can remove intake manifold by following the instructions in the manual. Its very straightfoward. You may need a special tool such as a 4" allen ball, but I forget what size. Buy the set if you dont have it at Sears, I will always come in handy. I have an 05" Road Glide and would think that there should not be too much difference betweeen my motor and yours. I can also offer you photo copies from my manual that would probably get you where you need to go. I can fax them to you if you like. I did my gaskets a few weeks ago and it is still fresh in my mind. I also re checked for any current trouble codes and had none so I am pretty sure this solved my problem. Don't hesitate to reach out to me if I can help. Also, cell #954-274-7740.
