Just wondering how many people are using a 2-1 pipes, true duals and 2-2 (no pipes under your bags)exhaust pipes on your bike. On my bike I have V&H true duals but ive been thinking going 2-1 system.

I've had 3 different exhaust systems on my 08 Bagger all within 3 weeks. I ended up with the V&H true duals (straight tip). I toped it off with a Power Commander V (fuel moto map) - and the bike really ame to life. The V&H have the best tone, throttle response and they even sounded better than all the others during deceleration. I also run the V&H on my Softail and love them just as much. As for the 2-1, to me it looks like something is missing on the left side without and pipe.
I hope this helps...
Just bought the D&D Boss Fatcat 2-1 from Dr. V Twin, looking forward to getting it on the bike. Check with Shawn, great service and great prices..
I actually like the look and sound of the 2-1 pipe. Also they are known to create better horsepower and torque numbers than the dual pipes. One other good thing about the Boss series on late the later model bikes is that if the motor is stock you can install the exhaust and a performance air filter without needing to re-tune the bike (according to their catalog and documentation that came with the exhaust).
