Question Stupid ? about LED's

Ok Guys, this may be a stupid question about LED's, but before I screw up my bike, I need to ask it. I just got 6 flex tubes with remote and wiring from Kapsco moto.com. I was under the impression they woul be peel off and stick on. Wrong! Thy have mounting screws with them, but say you can put them anywhere on your bike. I'm not inclined to put screws in th bottom of my gas tank, behind my air filter or anyplace like that.

Do they mean put them on the frame or what do you guys think I should do withthis? I know Ultra Rick had some from there, but I can locate his address. Need help from you LED experts. they said it came with instruction manual, but it's really just the card telling that comes with it saying go ahead and mount them anywhere. They do look bad azz in the pic.

I guess you could get some 3M two sided tape and install them without screws.

Gunner...just get yourself some double-sided tape and use that. My friend has had her lights over a year (installed with tape) and they've only come unstuck when someone adds something to her bike and pulls them off. Easy enough to get some new tape to stick them back on. Plus, screws seem so permanent...you definitely wouldn't want to use them on the tank!

I added 23 pods (3 more to be added) to my Deluxe...all with tape. Well, I can't take credit for the work...had a guy come over an do it...sure looks cool at night!

Pics when done, please!

Make sure you buy the 3M OUTDOOR tape since it will hold up to high temperatures. Home Depot has it. It's got red peel off backing.

If you can't find the kind the above mentioned, I would try the Emblem tape from O'Rileys. It is made for holding on auto emblems..and when you put that stuff on, it won't come off!

I used the two sided tape that came on mine (Joe-Florida) and added a couple of black zip ties about every three lights to the ones on the frame just because there is so much turbulance down there. They held good so far, no problems...
