Default Fuel console door-Lockable or not?

No major decision here, just lookin for a little feedback and the pros/cons from you guys that have these. I'm gonna replace the OE barrel key lock with something that I dont have to dig for a key every time I stop.
I like the looks of the simple pushbutton with no lock, but I also like the idea of being able to lock it to keep kids/vandals out. I realize that any barrel key will still unlock it, but it might turn away a simple curious kid if its locked.
So- the Harley smooth pushbutton with NO lock, or the Harley pushbutton that can still be locked when I want?
Pros/Cons?

the mushroom head is more reliable there have been problems with the lockable they can be fussy about being adjusted just right and dont always fit just right.local dealer will not sell the lockable they have too many come back.

Push button is great and I don't think someone will risk their life trying to get my gas. I don't worry about it.

I just turned my barrel lock around. Its still there, but you just push down at the bottom of the door and it opens. Even with gloves on, no probs.

I had the push button lockable first. Was a pain to push the tiny button to get the lid up. Replaced it with the mushroom head button and I'm happy now.

I had the barrel push button on my '99, I always wear gloves and found it a pain. And I never locked it, so as soon as the Limited comes in a mushroom head is going on.

I've had the 'mushroom head' since last summer.
I like not having to dig for the keys to refuel.
Like some of ya'll said, 'Who's crazy enough to try to steal 5-6 gal of gas'!
Any 'jiggling' around will trip the alarm system anyways.
The smooth button just looks better...to me.
