This is why people need to put their locations in their profiles! I have a jack and I would be happy to stop by and help if you are in my area!

I have the HD jack. Pricey, but I got it for free. My dad gave it to me, he quit riding 2 years ago and saved it for me. Anyway, it is a great jack because it uses a screw mechanism, so no hydraulic fluid at all to worry about. Plus, you can set the bike down very gently, and it is also very easy to adjust the height.

I stopped at Sears on the way home from work on the off chance they might be helpful..NOT. Gladly sell me a new one. FYI Sears produces nothing. The jack is manufactured by somebody else and sold as a Craftsman. I tried to find out who, so I might try to get parts..no luck.

A car jack or sissor jack is scary. I would have to hit the perfect balance point, slide the bike rack out, and very carefully let down.

I going to continue to ty to "borrow" a jack. I'm in W.PA in case anyone is out there. OR try to buy another jack. What type? Not sure? Hate to bust the wallet. Still need to but the part for the Yellow Sears & fix and sell it? Thanks for the ideas and the "Moral" support.

Good thing there is no riding weather here for a while. Cold, and worse yet, salty roads. Or...I might just try to ride that sucka down. Get her rockin till I can get the back tire to bite and whoo hooo....

Lift the back end with a scissor lift just higher than the bike lift and place 4 X 4's on the out side of the lift then let it down on the 4X4's. then repeat the same steps on the front section then slide the jack out. Then you will be able to get another lift under it.

I got my jack at Tractor Supply about 3 years ago. No problems yet. You wouldnt happen to have an engine hoist would ya? Or know someone that does? Strap it in the right places and hoist it off the jack then lower it back down and bingo!

Can the bottle be replaced while the bike is up in the air in the locked position?

I've always wondered whether Sears really made their own jack because it sure looks a lot like the OTC lift.

I have one and while it is functional, it is far from high quality.

If the bike has been up in the air for a while have you tried bleeding the jack. they can get an air pocket somehow and quit working. take the square head bolt and open it a little bit pump the handle and see if you get air. The jack on my engine hoist did that a few years back after sitting unused for a couple of years. I took that screw out put some hyd. fluid in bled the jack and it worked. Bleed it just like brakes pump it up open screw and repeat.

Sears doesn't make anything. Everything they sell is made by someone else and they have their name put on.
