Do you mean a cigarette lighter plug? My EGC has on in the fairing under the left handle bar. Look down there, it's hard to see if you don't know it's there.

If it don't have one there then I guess that would be a good place for one since I am assuming you have no tour pack. What model is the bike?

I use one of these. Easy to use. Plug it into your battery charger's harness and forget about it.

I just plug it in when I get to where I'm going (assuming NOT a public place where theft is a concern) and I'm done. Be wary of hot engine components though.

Haley has a new tourpack outlet that's pretty sweet. I put on my classic and it makes charging phone nice.

I charge mine out of the cigar lighter. No problems.

I posted about this before, but I had the fairing off and found two wires zip tied to the headlight harness. They come from the cigar lighter. I drilled a hole in the right side of my fairing and put the acc plug there, rather than the side cover below the seat. I have a plug for the air compressor or anything else. I'm also going to get the new one for the tour pack.
