I'm 5'11" and would like to do 13" or 14" bars on my bike. All that's holding me back is finding a pair I like and not changing my mind the next time I look at bars.

I'm 5'8" and installed the HD 1.25" Mini Apes. Coupled with a Sundowner saddle worked by MeanCity Cycles and it works for me. I had a set of the RK Fat Bars installed a month ago (yah, I know...should've done more research), felt like I was riding a wheel barrow. Anyone looking for a pair of "almost" Beach Bars in the guise of HD Road King Fat Bars? They retail for $259, rode them for 3 days and ordered the Mini Apes. I'll deliver to any U.S. address for $150. You'll need to buy some additional parts, but I'll save you a ton on the
bars...;-)!

I have had 16",17",and 18". I would say for looks only of course the 18"s are the way to go. I think the 16"s are a great compromise between looks, and comfort.

I'm 6'3" and I have 14" HCC apes on my StreetGlide. My hands are just below my shoulders. They are very comfortable and I've taken 7 hour trips with no issues. I kind of wish I would have gone with 16 inchers for strictly for looks, but I was hesitant about the comfort and I didn't want to bars to stick too far out above the fairing.

Well I put the order on hold until I get a better idea but it sounds like 14" inch would be the most ergonomic and 16" inch would be the best compromise between ergonomic and sexy.

I will probably just suck up the cost of the extra cables and go 16 - the pics in here look awesome and if I go with Wild Ones I should be ok.

I just put 12.5's on and you need longer wires, clutch cable and brake line. Can't tell you the measurements cause I got them as a kit from hdbikeparts

Oh you don't need to extend the TBW wires. Stock is long enough
