That would work if he was really racking up the miles, failing that, he may not want to wait that long.
Removal of the front wheel isn't that big of a deal and it makes bumper removal a lot easier.

I removed the front and like the look 100% better.

Same here, removed the front and back and like Dawg said, the 09 and 10's don't need the extra bracket.

Yeah, I've been pretty patient waiting for my front to wear out. Maybe I'll just go out and do it during the bad weather.
