Sorry I know this has been posted before somewhere. What are the parts that will be needed for this for an 08. Tourpack, 4 pt hardware, and backpad.I know I missing something. Part # would be great. Thanks
You also could consider adding the Detachables Lock (HD Part No. 46063-98). I ordered for mine, but didn't read the fittment specs good enough. They don't fit 09-later touring models w/ tour pak mounted in solo position.
If you're interested in a set, shoot me a PM. I'll give you a good deal on them. I took them out of the package, mounted it and realized that they wouldn't work for me.
Not sure how it'll work out for you on an '08, but for my '09, when i went to put everything together, HD didn't supply to correct length bolts, so I had to go out to the hardware store and pick up four 1/4" x 1-1/4" length bolts. Stupid thing came with 4 different size bolts to attach the TP to the mounting rack, but none of them were long enough to properly attach.
My Chopped TP, purchased in 12/06, did not come with the lock or any of the paraphernalia to install it, and they still don't. The King TP description doesn't say that it is or is not included. I had to order the parts separately, but now they have a kit (53194-07).
