Default Road King Windshield & MS Hardware?

Can a stock Road Kings windshield brackets and mounting hardware be replaced with Memphis Shades No-Tool Trigger-Lock adjustable hardware kit? My reasoning is that with this kit the shield can be adjusted 8 degrees forward or 8 degrees back. This would give me more room for adjusting my apes and keeping the windshield on. Any input would be appreciated. Here is a link to the hardware...

Default Yes and no

The stock brackets can be used but the M/S brackets will be a little loose. If you put the grommets that are supplied from M/S on, then the OEM windshield mounts will be too tight. So put the M/S grommets on and make the OEM slots a little bigger and you can change out the batwing with your OEM windshield whenever you want. That's what I did.

Thanks for the reply but I think my question was misunderstood. I'm not planning on installing the batwing fairing or any other windshield. I'm just trying to figure out if I can directly swap my stock windshields mounting hardware with the Memphis Shades hardware. With the Memphis Shades hardware you can adjust the pitch of the shield.... allowing me to push my apes further forward without touching the shield.

Default Doesn't matter.

The answer is still the same. You want to use just the M/S hardware. The size of the slots on the hardware are bigger than the parts on the bike (the parts inside the fork) so you'll need to install the parts that come with the M/S hardware so that the quick mount/release feature will fit tightly. I have the same adjustable hardware on mine too.
