I used Silver stars on my 08 EGC and after installing them and riding behind a friend all day he noticed the difference. But what he said was they made me disappear as the light was so bright and white it was not as noticeable as my passing lights. I would still used them in the headlight but I'm going to a more yellow colored light for the passing lights. Also, I recall they really lit up the night and looked like going from black & white to color! But it also had a dark spot or hole in the center of the pattern but I can't recall it it was on high or low beam. Just my thoughts,
ace cycle up in deridder has them in stock. around $40.00. i got one after my silverstars went out. they were nice, but didn't last. the piaa i have had for about 8 months now. the silverstars lasted about 7.

I wasn't talking about the HD or Kury conversion, I was talking about the DDM H4 hi low conversion, you can buy it in 35W or 55W for either $70 or $80 respectivly. I did make a mistake though, I thought the PIAA bulbs were more expensive then they are, I looked at the PIAA web site and they were like $80 a pair and I thought they were $80 a piece.
Hey Darren,
I just replaced my bulbs with the PIAA Anti Vibration Ultra Plasma H4 GT-X. Slight purplish on low beam, SUPER BRIGHT TRUE WHITE on High. Make sure you get the ANTI VIBRATION BULBS! PIAA makes a lamp for the driving lights, I do not know the number. I bought mine from Powersport Superstore.com Ordered them at 2:30 Wednesday they were on my doorstep Thursday at 4, UPS ground shipping! 70456 is the Anti Vibe H4 Extreme White..70476 is the Anti-Vib Plasma...The passing lamps are H3 I believe...70623 is the Extreme White H3 and 70375 is the GT-X Plasma H3...
Thanks Mike for the useful input.
I have a problem though, my Auxillary lamps look like this:
and these PIAA badboys draw 55-60W of power versus the OEM draw of 27Watts. Yikes! Big difference. I may be SOL on PIAA's in the Auxillary lamps.
Anybody have any suggestions for Auxillary lightening comparable to the PIAA's or did I miss something?
I put in a Sylvania Ultra-white H4 bulb
that I picked up at Wal-mart or was it
Autozone I can't remember but I like it
and everyone says they see me no problem
and I can see quite a ways also.

Just did this in My Buddy's EG with the same lamp you have. We had to change the 4.5" spotlights first to a style that uses a H3 style bulb. Used a Adjure light with a stock 35w h3 style lamp. Then you can install a PIAA H3 style 35 watt lamp.Ordered the Adjure lights for abought 104.00 from www.phatperformanceparts.com.
Ordered the 35 w PIAA lamps from www.customdynamics.com for 32.00 each. The PIAA lamps are great.
