I need some help folks in trying to pin point a nagging problem on my bike and that is this delayed vibration in my handle bars after i rev up the rpm's a little bit. This vibration i feel running through the handle bars is driving me crazy and i can't pin point what is causing it.
This may be reaching way out, but check your highway pegs on the engine guard when you rev the engine up. Mine are the long pig and the viberate at times when I rev the engine at stop.
The front motor mount can be crossed out because i changed them already and both the old and the new one its still doing the same thing. The vibration runs right up into the handle bars about a 2 second delay.

Unfortunately, the replacement mounts are of a harder rubber compound so even if you're replacing a bad mount with a new mount, the vibration persists. I'd replace the mount with either the Glide Pro or Velva Ride urethane front mount. It will definately reduce vibration. You'll also want to check to see if your exhaust is not binding up where it mounts to the frame at the starter mount, at the right side frame mount and where they mount under the bags, that can contribute vibration as well. You'll also want to make sure the engine mount links aren't in a bind (out of adjustment) which will transmit vibration right into the frame.

Had the same issue on mine. Happened usually right in the powerband where I was trying to cruise....
