At idle even the front end vibrates. If I hold the front brake it quiets down the front end, but free handed?... I can see and feel the forks, brake calipers, and fender shaking about. Not saying I don't like it, I just don't remember it doing that before I replaced my fuel lines, which included removing and returning a motor mount, but I'm sure it's back on nice and tight.

I noticed the shake increases when i am idle and hit the front brakes! so I just leave her alone on the traffic lights and cross my hands!

Love the shake! But if you think it is more then before, maybe look at another bike like yours (at dealer?) and make sure your mounts look the same as to position, direction, etc.

OH NO,,, so your one who put's your bike in N at lights???? That's unsafe! What if you have to take off quickly?
Sorry, There was a thread somewhere in here where the poster asked if you put your bike in N at lights,,, or hold the clutch. Someone else replied how unsafe it is to do that,,,,, I replied do what ever you want,, I do both,,, if I think the lights going to change quickly, I leave it in gear, if I am up to the light at the yellow,, I'll find N and sit there with my hands off the bars too!
You post just reminded me of it. The RICER twin "HD WANNABE'S" don't sit there and thump like ours do,,that's for sure! It is kinda cool.......

My 2008 FLHTP with the 103 is smooth down the road at speeds above 2000 rpm, but shakes a good bit at idle (handlebar, mirrors, etc. vibrate)...

I would assume this the nature of the beast - typical HD Big V-Twin behavior, due to the single pin crank design... of course, this is my first Harley, so feel free to correct me if I am wrong...

They say that if you shake it more than 3 times, you're playing with it. Personally, you have to do what you have to do to prevent the little leg runners.
