Exclamation Soulition to floorboard Carnage!

Made myself some skid bars for the bottom of my floorboards. Was draging so hard last year that I got into the brackets and tore up my floorboards. Long winter months leads to skid bars. Whatcha think?

Did you know that on an '06 you can raise your boards about 1/2"? Nice idea though.

Yeah, but who wants their knees up in their chest. The 07 below bikes were already cramped enough which is one reason why I think you sell that floorboard spacer deal right?

Awesome job Taylor. It's actually a better idea then the above mentioned floorboard spacers. Floorboards are not cheap. You should start a partnership with Soos or HarleyGoodies cause when you use one of their kits to space your floorboard out, it causes the floorboard bracket to scrape [09s+] and pretty much ruins it.

I say "partnership" because if you don't act now, someone will copy your idea and start selling it - cause that NEVER happens around here.

Don't suggest that. Someone will be leaning further over to drag them anyhow and then want to know what happened after the crash.

That is exactly what I was thinking. That scraping sound is supposed to let you know that you're about to go too far.

When the floorboard bracket hits you're going to far. But I wouldn't know just don't look at the fresh paint on mine.

I think they look great. Nice looking and functional. Maybe a delrin or teflon insert. At least it would cushion the impact when scraping.
Wanna do something? You make it and I'll post it on my site.
