I spent about $1100.00 to do a nice stage 1 conversion, I could care less about a super fast touring bike. Mine is fast enough for me.

Then about $3,000.00 getting her to look like I wanted.

That's pretty much it for me.

I dumped a crap load more than that on my last HD and lost every dime on the sale.

Lesson learned.........well sort of.

Comfort, then stage 1, then looks, then performance.

The first thing that I did was comfort, then exhaust etc. I will do a 103 or 107 before any mods that make the bike look better.

Mines a ElectraGlide standard and they are butt ugly stock so bling was first,then some performance,then more bling,next much more performance !!!

I am going comfort then performance, appearance mods will be last on my agenda. Appearance wise I will probally go painted inner fairing,chrome front end, and a set of wheels. As for now its in the shop getting a stage 2 103.

Thanks, for all the replies guys. Just wanted to see what the feeling was here. It would be nice to have a money tree in the backyard and treat ourselves to some bling and zing, whenever we want...but sometimes " a work in progress " is much more appreciated...
