Help w/ aftermarket dash kit

i am about to put a stereo in my 05 flht and the problem i am encountering is the space for the radio is too large for my alpine. does someone know of a good fix for this or will i have to get some type of kit. and if i do need a kit can everyone throw me some recommendations.

Try hawg wired, this may work.

Try Biketronics. They have the Retro Radio kit which allows for installation. Basically 2 plates that mount to the radio and then allows for mounting to the HD brackets. Also have controller that allow for use of the hand controls. This is what I used when I put a radio in my 2005 FLHT.

I did it its easy

I just replaced my 2010 SG radio with and Alpine IDA 305 , this allows me to use my ipod and have XM. Hawg wire sells a kit that gives you the adapter (easy to match up with the Harley harness) the tray the new radio sits on and the faceplate. Little pricey bit it was rasy to install and looks great.
